Classic Honda

I recently visited this authorized service centre for a minor AC issue in my Honda City, primarily for gas refilling. Initially, my experience was quite positive—the staff was courteous and professional in their behavior. During inspection, the mechanic identified a poor-quality AC filter and removed it, which immediately improved the cooling efficiency. They also refilled the gas and checked for leaks, confirming that everything was in order. Upon testing, I noticed a significant improvement in the AC performance and felt satisfied with the service. In fact, I was so pleased that I intended to leave a positive review. However, the situation took an unexpected turn. After the apparent completion of the work, my car was taken to the rear of the garage without clear communication. I was then presented with a bill exceeding ₹3000, which I paid. Only afterward was I informed that the AC compressor was defective and needed replacement—something that had neither been discussed earlier nor seemed necessary based on the improved performance, I had just experienced. To my disappointment, the car was returned to me in a worse condition than before. The air conditioning, which had improved initially, began blowing hot air, leaving me frustrated and dissatisfied. What started as a promising service experience ultimately turned into a very disappointing one.
