I’ve been driving my Honda Brio for over 10 years, and it has been my trusted companion through countless journeys. I make sure to maintain it well with regular servicing, and since I’ve mostly been getting it serviced at the Honda service center in Calicut, I was a bit skeptical about trying a new service center in Mysore. However, due to my current stay in Mysore, I decided to give Inspire Honda a try. Finding the service center wasn’t the easiest task, as it was located around 7 km from my place. Despite that, I managed to drop off my car there, but one thing that immediately stood out was the lack of a drop-back service, which is something many service centers provide. This was slightly inconvenient as I had to arrange my own transport back. Before leaving my car, I made sure to clearly communicate all the issues I had been noticing—some minor noises, a few parts that needed replacement, and general servicing requirements. The staff noted everything down, and I was informed that some parts had to be ordered from their headquarters in North India, which would take nearly 7 days to arrive. While I was fine with the waiting time, I expected a smooth and thorough service once the parts arrived. After waiting for a week, I took my car back for the required replacements and service work. While I do appreciate that they managed to complete about 90% of the requested work, I was disappointed that a few of the issues I had pointed out were left unresolved. This lack of attention to detail made the overall experience feel less than satisfactory. The staff was decent, and the service wasn’t bad, but it lacked the thoroughness and efficiency I expected from an authorized Honda service center. The communication could have been better, as I had to follow up multiple times regarding the ordered parts and service updates. Overall, my experience with Inspire Honda was just average. While they got most of the job done, I didn’t leave with the confidence that my car had been given the best possible care. Given this experience, I will have to seriously reconsider whether I want to return to this service center for my next maintenance session or look for better alternatives. I hope they improve their service and customer experience in the future. But still must say I am a huge fan of Honda.
