Had an issue during a long drive. Stopped by for checking. They were super helpful. The mechanic was very knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed and solved it.

I wanted to share my overall experience of buying my new Honda City from Capital Honda Thanjavur. Honestly, I can’t even recall exactly when or how this journey began — I believe it was towards the end of October when Vijay, my sales person, first reached out with a call about any interest in buying a new car. Just then the hybrid variant was mentioned and became aware of it and interested. Normally, I avoid picking up unknown numbers, but this one turned out to be the start of a meaningful process. From there, Vijay arranged a test drive which was conducted very well. Soon, the discussion moved to the exchange of my 2017 Honda City. The initial appraisal numbers weren’t satisfactory, so things slowed down for a while. Later, with GST impacts and year-end offers coming into play, we revisited the conversation — this time around a potential sport variant that was closer to my budget. Exchange value was also reconsidered. At this stage, I’d like to acknowledge Tholkappoiam, (assessor) who played a supporting but important role behind the scenes as the assessor for my old vehicle. His evaluation added clarity to the exchange process, even though the main focus of my journey remained with Vijay and Rajasekhar. Meanwhile, I did my own deeper scrutiny of the hybrid and sport models. Given my relatively low usage, I felt the hybrid battery life might not be ideal, and I wasn’t comfortable settling for a lower variant. That’s when the focus shifted to the top variant of the City. From that point onwards, things started moving positively, and eventually led to this day — driving home a new car as a happy customer. This is, in fact, my fourth Honda car, which says something about the trust I have in the brand. I would especially like to highlight Vijay’s role in this journey. His handling of the entire process was patient, paced, and never pushy. He was present throughout, subtly supportive, and gave me the space to arrive at the right decision. That kind of approach makes a big difference for customers like me. I also want to acknowledge Rajasekhar’s (Team Leader) leadership. He was clear in understanding customer expectations and demonstrated the ability to make decisions quickly, which added confidence and clarity to the process. Finally, I want to mention the whole team who were present during the handover ceremony. The effort that went into preparing the setup, including the person who performed the pooja, made the delivery feel special and memorable. As the selling portion is complete and we move into the service mode in the future, I expect the same kind of focus and attention. Too often, once the product is sold, service becomes routine and unsatisfactory, with technicians simply going through a checklist without empathy. Instead, I hope to see the same level of care, patience, and customer focus every time the vehicle is brought in for service. Together, Vijay, Rajasekhar, and the supporting team ensured that I not only purchased a new car but did so with satisfaction and trust. Thank you for making this experience truly memorable.
